GoogleIO

From the Keynote speech yesterday lots of interesting things appear to be coming for GWT.  This is just a brief post to keep you updated but version 2.1 of GWT includes new data widgets and close integration with the SpringRoo framework.  This code allows you to quickly develop boiler place admin and data entities allowing you to quickly developer add/edit/update/view/query data and screens.  Very exciting from a GWT perspective.

Speedtracer demos were very informative allowing an finely grained drill down of the performance aspects of your GWT application.  They even showed the ability to trace performance bumps on the server side and to allow you to add custom messages into the speed tracer program.  From a developer perspective this is amazing.  You can watch your application perform and know instantly where the tuning needs to operate on.
